to the crib we go

Eli has made his nap debut in his crib. Here he is enjoying his crib toy after his very first nap in his crib. We are in the process of transitioning him from our room to his room. Mommy is both happy & sad.

Eli is 2 months old

Eli has had a busy weekend!

Eli had his 2 month checkup today and had his first round of shots. He cried for about 5 seconds then seemed fine. Now that we're home he's playing on his mat batting at his monkey & whale. (notice his bandaids in the picture)

Here's Eli's 2 month stats: height- 24 3/4 inches, weight- 10 lb, 10 oz

When Daddy's away........

Since daddy is in Orlando this week, Gram came to keep me & Eli company. I took this opportunity to go to Mt. Juliet and yes- to Target. Here is Gram holding Eli in the sling for his very first Target adventure. We may have also stopped in Lebanon for a little outletting too.

i thought everyone would like to know that ELI slept through the night for the FIRST time on Friday night. 9pm-6am!

2 months of rain

It's rained every day this week, but yesterday I was able to get out and take a bike ride. I took this picture of our house - it had been foggy for 2 days! Today it drizzled and was COLD. We had planned to take Eli on his first camping trip this weekend, but cancelled b/c of the weather- now I'm really glad we did!

Instead of going camping, I got Eli some winter clothes. It's too cold for a little boy to wear short sleeves, even in the house. Here he is in his new hoodie.
