last year and this

Isn't it amazing what a difference a year makes.  Just take a look at these boys from last August! Eli was almost 2 and Isaac was 8 months.

And now look at this August. Eli is almost 3, and Isaac 20 months!! WOW.

Two sweetie boys and a baby sister on the way.  I'm one blessed momma.

our august

I know, I know, it's been like a month since my last blog post. Between travelling and resting when the boys nap, I haven't had much gumption to blog. Sadly, I haven't even taken that many pictures considering all the adventures we've been on this month!  So here's a short photo blog of some of the things we've been up to. (Let it be known that the only reason I'm blogging now is because the boys are having a hard time falling asleep for their naps so I have some free time)
------------------------------------------
Rachel and I took Eli on a church outing to Oak Ridge for a train ride. He LOVED it!  He kept saying "this is fun!"  And what's not to love, trains are awesome :)

The boy wore his Thomas shirt and conductor hat in honor of the experience.

The snack car was really loud- open to the air so the train whistle was loud.
 -----------------------------------------------------
Isaac played in the rain at Bala & O'Pa's cabin.  He loved it, probly as much as Eli loved the train ride.

--------------------------------------------------
Two cousins shared a seat during Sunday school when we were visiting Matt's parents.  They could not love each other more and they love playing together!

---------------------------------------------------
The boys & I spent a week at my parents house while Matt was at the trail ride and this is the only picture I got the whole week! Isaac's chilling in my mom's car before we head to the lake to swim.

More adventures to come soon.  Our Thursday Bible study starts back up next week, and the week after that Matt has vacation!
