So Eli is always trying to touch my wireless keyboard and matt's laptop keyboard. We don't let him because who knows what sort of Ctrl/Del/F12 combination he will hit and destroy the computer's memory in some way. I realized we had an extra keyboard under matt's computer desk so guess who got his OWN!

Isaac, you're the coolest....

Today after church Eli went to his very first basketball game! He watched Isaac play and had a great time watching him pass and throw the ball. He lasted through the 1st quarter, then slept through the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th quarters. We love you Eli AND Isaac!!

who needs football, we have babies

Last night for the superbowl we went to our friends Brad & Marcy's house. Their little boy Oliver is exactly one week younger then Eli & when they were born he & Eli were the same length and weighed the same. The babies were so cute lying on the floor next to each other- they were curious and kept trying to touch each other! Since none of us are really into football, we spent most of the game and all of halftime playing with the babies and laughing at their funnyness.

**Read this before watching the video:
So this afternoon at the beginning of Eli's 3rd nap, I hear his crib mobile come on and play music. Now this is probly the 4th time ever that Eli has turned it on himself during a nap. So Matt & I, being the good parents we are, go in and turn it off and stand at the door to see what Eli will do (b/c we don't know if it was an accident or if he actually meant to turn it on). What did we discover?.......yes, he was kicking it on purpose to turn it on!! He had shimmied himself kind of sideways so he had the perfect kicking angle. What a boy!
(btw..to turn it on you have to push the little parrot button on the front right hand corner)

snow day = cousins & aunts

aunt rachel had another snow day yesterday so what's the best thing to do in that situation? go visit her of course! me & eli met aunt diane and cousin aaron at aunt rachel's yesterday for a fun filled time of starbucks, chicken wings, shopping, and talking (and picture taking of course). here's the proof of what aunts & mommies subject their babies to when we get together.
eli was A LOT more interested in cousin aaron than when we took pictures at christmas. in fact, this time it was aaron who was trying to get away! gotta love it......

snowed in

this is what you do when you have a 5 month old and you're snowed in......you spend 15 minutes getting him bundled up, 15 minutes getting him unbundled, and 5 minutes outside...just long enough to force him to take some pictures and make a snow angel (okay, this may be a bit of an exaggeration, but not much! hehehe). enjoy our pictures!
