4 months going on 4

After Esther kept staring us down and practically trying to grab our food as we ate dinner I decided maybe she wanted some (!?)  So here's the little girl practically lunging for her mashed banana. Sigh. I thought I had a couple more months before solids.

Friday was a beautiful and warm-ish day, perfect for a haircut outside then lunch sans-clothes. 

We're AR bound Saturday so no blogging for a while.  I'm going to enjoy a mommy refresher!

mommy loves sugar

On Tuesday instead of our regular craft time we made sugar cookies.  I used the recipe from one of my favorite blogs: memoriesoncloverlane.com but made them gluten free. The cookie dough was very easy to roll out and didn't stick to the rolling pin like gf dough usually does.  We made the cookies a little thick and once they were cooked, were nice and soft.  

In fact I may even be eating a cookie as I type this ;)

chase & hide

Lately the boys have been playing 'chase hide & seek'.  That means that Eli "hides" and when Isaac finds him they both run around the circle a few times until Isaac "hides" and Eli finds him. 

  I say "hides" because you can see Isaac's idea of hiding.....under a pillow. So Funny!

Eli didn't even notice. He ran right past. 

I love when they play it because they shriek with laughter and giggles the whole time.

I found this video of the kids last saturday when isaac was under the weather (remember my "Biggest Blibbett of All Time" incident).  Eli's in the chair playing cars with Esther as she gets sleepy.  So sweet.  The boys just love her.

creativity at its best

On Wednesday Eli requested the paint dot pens, cotton balls, and glitter glue and created his own work of art.  I love seeing what he creates without any direction

 This little cutie added some stickers to his picture.

Sometimes Esther sucks her thumb. I think its uber-cute!
