tummy time & cousin time

i've been attempting to give eli some tummy time everyday so i don't have to hold his head for him forever. he's actually pretty good at holding his head up already & getting stronger at it everyday.

yesterday eli & i visited aunt diane & cousin aaron. it was the longest car ride yet for eli- 1 1/2 hours. going & coming he slept the first 45 minutes and cried the last 45 minutes. other than the car crying, he was a wonderfully happy baby all day and even took a cat nap in the car with aaron. thanks diane for a wonderful day. can't wait to do it again!

Here's the latest pictures of my cutie boy in Mema's "first Thanksgiving" outfit. He wore it on Wednesday to our church's annual Thanksgiving Banquet where everyone ooohhh'd and awwwww'd over his cuteness.

And mommy was quite proud- Eli sat in his car seat and watched us all eat, then Auntie Liv fed him and rocked him to sleep. What a precious boy he was!

daddy played his guitar for elijah this afternoon & eli layed on the floor for about 45 minutes just listening. here's a sample of what we enjoyed.

yes i did it. i left elijah in the nursery during part of bible class. it was only for 30 minutes but i nearly teared up when i left him. and of course, i had to snap some pictures before i left.

My grandparents & parents came to visit Eli this past weekend. It was special for me to have Granny & Papaw meet Eli.

last weekend when Aunt Diane & Aunt Rachel visited, we took the cousins where else but Starbucks! luckily for us they slept the whole time. i commemorated eli's first visit to starbucks with this picture.

then on the way home both babies cried. Diane & I were enjoying the front seat while poor Aunt Rachel tried to soothe both boys at the same time.
