a bunny with a bow

Esther has enough hair on top to put in a tiny little bow. Swoon.  Oh, and you may notice the 50 billion mosquito bites on her cheek....she's just that sweet :)  Also, she's got two teeth going on 6.  Seriously, the girl is cutting all 4 top teeth at once! Ouch!!

Last week at Mother's Day Out all the kids had their pictures taken.  A friend of ours from church who is a photographer/artist was hired to take all the kids' pictures and I think the boys' turned out SO GOOD!  I'll be making an order, but just had to take a photo of the proofs for you to see.  What biggies!!

lately....

Daddy is the ULTIMATE ouchie doctor.  Basically as soon as any kid gets hurt I say, "Go see dad".  They trust him and he's a lot more patient with the screaming and flailing legs than mommy :)
In this particular incident, Eli had re-hurt an old injury by banging his leg against a chair while running.  There was blood involved which made the screaming even more blood-curling.  Don't you love how Isaac calmly looks on while continuing to eat is piece of goop.  All in a day he says. :)  Plus he spent like 30 minutes at the table trying to finish his dinner so he could even have a piece, so he's not about to stop eating. :)

Also, I remember going through this EXACT phase with the boys, but I now try to load/unload the dishwasher when Esther is not around.  This....would be why.  She can climb up on the dishwasher and slobber/manhandle all the silverware!  Oh my.

In other news......I took Eli to his first ever movie in the theater.  We saw "Planes."  We went on bargain night which meant $2 popcorn & drinks!  Score.  He basically sat in awe the whole movie.  When it was over and I asked him what his favorite part was his answer was, "the airplanes".  HA!  We went with our friends Amberly and Alex so the boys enjoyed some alone time with the mommies.

You may notice the band-aid across the nose...it's kinda obvious.  He got whopped in the face (albeit accidentally, by Isaac)  and now has a nice shiner and some nasty looking scratches on his nose.  He's pretty banged up right now poor kid.

He's has so many bumps and hurts lately, I guess he needed more bandaids just in case.  He put those stickers on his tummy and informed me he was pretending they were bandaids.
Also, we've been practicing smiling for real, and this is what I got today.  So. funny.
