a boy i know is 4!!!!

Yes its true.  Elijah turned 4 years old TODAY!!!!

Eli & Brooklynn celebrated birthdays last night with cake and pizza.

And a boy also got to eat gum for the very first time.  

 We celebrated this morning with a birthday doughnut.  

And then we celebrated by opening presents after breakfast.

 And thank you Gram & Poppa.

It's been a happy birthday indeed!

Today is the first day of Preschool (aka Mother's Day Out) for the boys.  These pictures pretty much sum up their opinions- Isaac apprehensive & Eli super excited.  I, on the other hand, have found a new sense of freedom I haven't felt in almost 4 years.  I think I kinda like it :)

Isaac has the 2 year old syndrome known as "don't take my picture"....and Eli has the 4 year old "cheese".

BTW, Esther IS home with mommy.....but asleep.  Ahhhhhh......silence :)
