Got some love.

Went to Lowe's.
Played at the park.
Went on a walk at the park.
Threw rocks in the lake.
Played baseball.

Blackberry Jam. Enough said.

At lunch today Eli wanted to sit in Daddy's seat and Aaron wanted to sit in Isaac's seat.
And right now all 3 boys are asleep. Ahhhhhhh.............

Looking forward to some serious cousin play time over the next few days!

that's what friends are for

Here's Eli's church buddies helping him conquer his elevator phobia.

Oh, and a very patient daddy who stood there with him for a good 15 minutes before he would even set foot inside the elevator. At the end of the night, Eli could ride the elevator and get on and off by himself.

our saturday

Matt took Eli into the field today to pick blackberries. They both had a good time, despite scratched up legs. Matt said he'd pick two and Eli would eat one. :)

Isaac and I joined in the picking for a little while before nap time.
Matt got at least 5 cups! More will be ripe soon so we may have to get creative with the berries. Cobbler anyone?

we love summer

So today was an absolutely beautiful 80 degree and cloudy kind of day. That means the boys and I spent a lot of time doing this.........

practically cousins

Today our friends from Knoxville- Ian, Rachel, & Garrett came to visit. Matt and Ian have been friends their whole lives (their parents were friends before their boys were born) and now Ian's little boy Garrett and our Eli are friends. Just makes me feel good inside.

i love 5 month olds

What a little sweetie eating squash for the first time! These were taken a couple of days ago- tonight was day 3 of solids and he's eating like a pro. I love these simple joys.

So after bouncing for over an hour yesterday (yes, you read that right!) Isaac fell asleep in the bouncer. HA!

oh and for those of you who were uber concerned about our lack of air conditioning- it's fixed. the guys came today, gave us a new unit- and i'm writing this without sweating!
