a success!

sometimes i take the kids to walmart

I'm just crazy like that :)  But seriously, sometimes a mom can only be at home for so long and then an outing is required.  Going to walmart is a good outing option because 1. It's air-conditioned, 2. They have these really cool buggies so ALL the kids are contained, 3. I see other humans, 4.  Being gone an hour makes the morning go by so much faster!
Now you know my secret.

a little rain

After days, and days, and days, and days, and days of rain we all went outside this morning to splash in some puddles.  I've been sending the boys out by themselves periodically, but mommy and esther were tired of being inside so today we went out too!  It's still drizzly today and so I'm enjoying our last day of 70 degree wet weather before it turns HOT again.   Oh, summer in TN how I love you!!  And what nice green grass we have too. :)

a few fireworks in the street

We managed to sneak outside between rain showers on Thursday to have fun with a few sparklers and spinny-light-up fireworks.  The boys made their firework lighting debut and I think they would've shot off, played with, watched fireworks for hours.  Unfortunately the rain didn't cooperate this year.
